One of the activities that we set schools when visiting Greatmoor is to minimise the amount of waste generated from their packed lunches.
We were amazed and impressed to find that 17 pupils from North Masrton Primary School, along with their two teachers created absolutely no waste whatsoever (apart from some orange peel which as biodegradable and unavoidable waste isn’t measured).
Usually the waste packaging is weighed, but this time the scales went back into the cupboard unused.
Taking part in this challenge has also led the school to develop their own waste free packed lunch policy
Congratulations to North Marston School
