Primary Schools Visit Greatmoor

During the last 3 weeks, Greatmoor has welcomed its first visits from Primary School classes.
Classes from Akeley Wood Primary and Halton Combined School visited, and saw the facility in operation.
Highpoints for all pupils were the grab crane (or Toy Story inspired Claw!) picking up waste from the bunker (the weight of a fully grown elephant in each load!), and then seeing the waste burning in the grate.
