Greatmoor Receives Its 1000th Visitor

13 ladies and gentlemen from Great Horwood and Singleborough WI visited Greatmoor on the morning of 21st February 2017, taking the number of visitors to Greatmoor past 1000.
The group were presented with a certificate and a Greatmoor Legoman in the Visitors Centre before embarking on their tour of the facility.
Since opening to visitors in July 2016, visitors to Greatmoor have included U3As, Parish Councils, Young Farmers Groups, local societies, schools, colleges, cubs and scouts, as well as WIs.
“There’s a great variety of visitors to Greatmoor at the moment” said Jez Elkin, Education Manager. “Only yesterday we had an international Energy from Waste conference, and today not one, but two local WIs”
