FCC Environment welcomes Miami Senator to UK EfW plant

FCC Environment in the UK were delighted to welcome Senator Rene Garcia, Miami-Dade County Commissioner and his Legislative Aide Lauren Pardo last week as part of a site visit hosted by our colleague Luly Escar, Vice President Public Affairs, FCC Environmental based in Miami.
Hosting the party were Juergen Schaper, FCC’s Operations Director (Energy Division) and Stephen Rawlinson General Manager of the Greatmoor EfW plant.
It was great to show them how we process waste that cannot be recycled here in the UK creating energy for the grid from a resource that would otherwise go to waste.
